Kiksyco didn’t start with certainty. Stepping away from cosmetics school to focus on the business side of the Industry? That felt terrifying.
We had no investor backing, no safety net, and way more questions than answers. But we couldn’t shake the two things keeping us up at night:
First, the gaping hole in the African beauty space and what the market wants.
Second, the constant undervaluation of African talent, expertise, and ingredients.
We were tired of scanning beauty aisles, hoping to find *something* made for us.
So, we took the leap because we know what it means to live in our skin.
